1. When is check-in and check-out?

Check in is at 4pm. Check out is by 10am.

 

2. Are children allowed?

Absolutely yes! However, please note that our properties are NOT child-proof.

 

3. How far is the nearest airport?

Beckham's Bungalow: TYS - 50 minute drive

Papa Bear's Den: TYS - 1 hour drive

La Sonadora: VPS - 28 minute drive

The Emerald Pearl: VPS or ECP - 45 minute drive

 

4. Is the property wheelchair accessible?

Beckham's Bungalow: Front entry has a step-down porch and leads to the main level, which has a master bedroom, and living & dining area.

Papa Bear's Den: Front entry has a step-down porch at front entry and leads to the basement, which has 2 bedrooms. Living & dining area is on the main level above.

La Sonadora: Front entry leads to the lowest level, which has one bedroom and living & dining area.

The Emerald Pearl: Front entry leads to the lowest level, where the living & dining area is. There is no bedroom on the lowest level; however the house has an elevator.

 

5. What is your cancellation policy?

100% refunds are given for any cancellations made until 30 days before check-in.

50% refund for cancellations made within 30 days but before 14 days of check-in.

No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

 

6. Why do I have to provide my photo ID?

We need to verify your identity to protect ourselves and our property against fraud. This is the same as providing photo ID when you stay at a hotel. Please rest assured that we will never share your information with any individual or organization. Your information is safe with us.

 

7. Do I need four-wheel drive for the Smokies area?

Four-wheel drive is highly recommended during winter due to steep roads in the area. Please check the weather and plan ahead. If it is going to snow during your stay and you don't have a four-wheel drive, you should consider renting one. Another option is using snow chains; however we don't recommend this as snow chains can't be used on regular roads. If some parts of the road has snow and some don't, you will have to keep putting the snow chain on and taking it off multiple times, which is extremely inconvenient.
